Trimona Bulgarian Ayran

Intro
A reimagining of the yogurt brand every Bulgarian immigrant bonds over. The box set of four cans is for their ayran product, a tart yogurt drink. The logo motifs and border are derived from traditional Bulgarian folk embroidery, with the contrast between the deep red and creamy white grounding the design in cultural identity. To blend something uniquely Bulgarian for an American audience, the visual style of the traditional motifs syncs with the bold typography to make for a dynamic identity. Using both Cyrillic and Latin alphabets adds a slight but intentional variation in visual texture.
